2. Anisotropy and designability

Some components on medical equipment need to have small deflection and high rigidity after being carried in a certain direction; carbon fiber reinforced resin matrix composite materials can have significant anisotropy, that is, there are significant performance differences along the axial direction of the fiber and perpendicular to the axial direction of the fiber, and the anisotropy of the material brings greater freedom to the design.

The layering orientation of the material can be adjusted over a wide range. Due to the anisotropic characteristics of the layering, the elasticity and strength characteristics of the composite material can be changed by changing the orientation and layering sequence of the layering, in order to obtain a composite structure that meets the requirements of use and has a better performance-to-quality ratio.
